A Note From Mrs. Clark

Together, we will make this a joyful year of firsts. Thank you for trusting me to learn alongside your child, celebrate their growth, and help them feel at home in our classroom community.

Starting preschool is an exciting milestone, and it's completely natural for children and families to have big feelings about this transition. I'll welcome each child with patience, care, and reassurance while creating a warm, safe, and nurturing classroom where they feel supported, build confidence, and learn and grow at their own pace.

Safety First — buckle up seatbelt reminder

Bus Riders

For families with children riding the bus this year, we encourage you to practice fastening seatbelts at home. This simple routine will give your child confidence and help set them up for a safe and happy ride to school and back home each day.

Monthly Lunch Menu

Each month, a lunch menu will be sent home in your child's folder. If your child will be purchasing lunch from the school, please take a moment to review the menu together, circle their lunch choices for the month, and return it as soon as possible so we can ensure their selections are ready.

Getting Ready for the First Day

Supplies

Preschool Supply List

Please bring "Stay at School" items to the September 1 Open House. Bring the rest — Quiet Time items and extra clothing — on the first day of school, and make sure everything is labeled.

Snack & Lunch

Every Day in Class

Please send one small, independent snack and a drink from home each day — no glass containers, please. Lunch may be brought from home or purchased at school. Please label all snack and lunch bags with your child's name.

Family Photo

For Our Classroom Wall

Please send a 4 × 6 family photo on the first day of school so we can add it to our classroom family wall.

4:30–6:00 PM · Cambridge Elementary. Please bring your child's school-supply items that evening.
